Leslie Goddard, author and historian, is a writer and lecturer on "American cultural history," with her "particular expertise in women's history."  With a Ph.D in interdisciplinary studies and an M.A. in museum studies, Leslie "brings history to life" with portrayals such as Betty, the Pan Am Stewardess, Amelia Earhart, and Jacqueline Kennedy.  Her popular lectures include Remembering Marshall Field's and Chicago's Sweet Candy History with her latest presentation on Barbie.  Today's presentation is very special because the topic was chosen by YOU, our wonderful members.
